Every tool must pass three tests before we list it. First, it must be directly applicable to at least one of the 18 MBA subjects or business functions. Second, it must be accessible to a student — free tier or under ₹500/month. Third, the AI feature must do something genuinely useful, not just wrap GPT-4 with a new interface. We reject roughly 70% of tools we evaluate against these criteria.

No — and we are transparent about this. Every tool card clearly shows whether there is a free tier, what the free tier includes, and the paid pricing. We always highlight the best free tools for each subject. Some powerful tools are paid-only — these are included because they are industry-standard tools worth knowing about, even if you use a free alternative for assignments.

We add new tools every Monday after the weekly discovery and testing process. The number varies — typically 5–10 new additions per week during active curation periods. Members receive a weekly ‘New this week’ email alert with the latest additions relevant to their subjects.

Yes — use the Contact Us page and select ‘Suggest a tool for review’. Include the tool name, website and a note on which MBA subjects it would help with. We review every community suggestion and aim to test and respond within 2 weeks.

Use the Contact Us form or email support@skilledmba.com with the tool name and what has changed. We verify and update listings within 48 hours. All tools are re-verified at least every 3 months, but pricing in the AI tools market changes rapidly and we appreciate community reports.

No. Tools are listed purely on the basis of their usefulness to the MBA community. Some tools have affiliate programmes — these are clearly marked with a 💰 icon. We list tools whether or not they have an affiliate programme, and affiliate commissions never influence our editorial descriptions or rankings.
